Pics From The Invasion Car Show 2014 - Deep Ellum
Taking pics of cars isn't really my thing. I leave that up to my very talented wife, Wendy, at TripleDubImages.com. Still, when she brings me to these great events, like The Invasion Car Show, I'll try to mess around with my point-and-shoot, and iPhone.
To be honest, as great as the cars are, I found myself more interested in the folks around them. Here are a few of my better attempts.
This girl was waiting on a photographer, setting up a shoot with that car.
Sometimes, the colors from a work in progress, are amazing.
These cars will always make a statement.
I was messing around with some post-work on these trucks and decided to leave this in color over black and white. I'm pretty happy with the contrast.
I saw these two just standing there, asking for me to capture this moment.
Sometimes, rust is a beautiful thing.
I love when the driver matches the car.
The coolest Dad in my book.
Couple of dudes, checking out the cars.
It was a great day to drive around without a roof.
